The sad thing is.... I know no one on my flist is going to get this, and I'm not going to explain it.....
but.....
Sometimes....
Deaf really is the better way
(not on the not hearing thing..... on a particular cultural value....)

I agree the people that I know who are Deaf do not confuse me with all their double talk and do not use words to confuse. They get to the point. Also learning ASL later in life it has helped me immensely since I also learned the social rules, things that I never learned in the first place or was unable to understand when I was young.
